Microsoft ActiveSync comes on a CD with your device and is software to control the connection between your desktop/laptop computer and the device. If you are having problems with ActiveSync, click HERE for an article by Microsoft on troubleshooting. Click on the following icon to get the latest version of ActiveSync. Note: ActiveSync 4.2 is designed for Windows Mobile 5.0 devices. For Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition or earlier, use ActiveSync 3.8 or earlier. (ActiveSync 3.8 and earlier is no longer available online from Microsoft, see CD that came with your device)
Note: Windows Vista no longer uses ActiveSync.
